Recent visit to R. J Donnan Hearing Care. Right from the start Rob made my wife and I feel very relaxed and confident of a very professional service. After my hearing was found to be ‘in need of improvement’ Rob went through several options with me and placed his recommended hearing aids in place. We chatted for some time until I was confident enough to leave, wearing the hearing aids on trial. No payment was requested at this time. Rob made a follow up appointment for me for the following week. On my return, and only when I was totally happy with every detail, was payment required. Will be going back next week for the first of future follow up appointments. As I work in the music business it is essential that my hearing has to be as good as it can be and I am pleased to say that I am more than satisfied. Sammy King.

I have worn hearing aids all my life and have met a fair few hearing aid dispensers. After the latest bad experience, I decided to try R J Donnan. Rob came and visited me at home where he took his time to get to know me and find out what my needs are. I soon decided that he wasn’t going to just take my money and leave me to it so I bought my first pair of hearing aids from him. I had no regrets at all. The aftercare from the whole team is brilliant and is really quite unique when compared to other hearing aid dispensers. I recently decided I wanted to upgrade my hearing aids to some with higher specs and with Bluetooth and there was no question about who I’d be getting them from. Rob has provided me with the best hearing aids I could possibly ask for and I’m absolutely delighted by the improvement they’ve made to my life. I would wholeheartedly recommend R J Donnan to anyone, young or old, who have any concerns about their hearing.

My wife has excellent service. Robert visited us at home for an initial consultation. Then allowed her to try the new system for an extended period in home and work environments before she made her purchase. The cross system has worked really well and follow up from the company has been great. Also super value for money compared with previous provider.

Having worn hearing aids since the age of 4, I fully recognise just how important it is to have an audiologist who not only shows incredible professionalism every time we meet but also provides expert advice. I first met Rob in 2007 and was so impressed how he made me feel at ease and the perfect fit attained through precise moulding of the inner ear mould that I have continued to travel from Sheffield to Cleckheaton for every appointment. Well worth the mileage for such expert service! As I work in sales, my hearing is essential not just to my every day life but also to my job. If I cant hear clearly and be able to communicate with the client, the sale is lost. The service and up to date advice Rob provides cannot be underestimated. Superb! Really professional and friendly. My hearing loss was difficult to come to terms with and I really left it too long before I got advice. Having made the quantum leap to seek professional advice I couldn’t have chosen any better. Rob is extremely knowledgable and professional and quickly removed any fears I had about hearing aids. I went for microsuction as my ears were totally blocked. Fantastic service,very friendly staff. I will never have my ears syringed again at my local GP’s. I first contacted Rob Donnan several years ago, after having multiple problems with hearing aids purchased from 2 of the high street names. From the start Rob put me at ease, explaining my options, and advising me of the most suitable hearing aid for my condition. As I have quite severe hearing loss Robs professionalism, patience and understanding cannot be underestimated. I would never consider consulting any other Audiologist. A first class service offered by Rob and his team regarding my hearing aid which is the Phonak V70. Rob made it clear and simple to understand the benefits of the hearing aid and how it works best for me with the different functions. I can say I made the right choice and it made it easier with Rob’s knowledge, experience but above all his explanations regarding the hearing aid. Thank you Kirstin and Team! We thought my Mom lost hiring on right ear. But Kirstin found audibility level and mother now hears with both ears- she can hear her voice and her quality of life very improved. I needed wax removal in my ear and decided to see Kirstin at the Chesterfield Hearing Practice. The treatment was quick, painless and very efficient and Kirstin was brilliant. This is a private treatment so there is a cost involved but it is worth every penny as an ear infection is very painful and difficult to treat. I would recommend The Hearing Practice to anyone who needs ear wax removal
