Here is a correctly fitted ear mould
This is a common fitting error. The helix or top part has not been fitted into that ‘slot’ above.

 This is the same issue, but where the patient has tried to force that part in, and it’s squashed the ear fold beneath the the mould (ouch)

This time, the mould is slotted into the ear canal and the helix, but the bottom section has not been pushed home….
